Provides a comprehensive range of employment and training services in partnership with state and local agencies and organizations. These services benefit job seekers, laid off workers, youth, individuals currently working, veterans, people with disabilities, and employers.

EDD veterans’ representatives specialize in assisting veterans in their efforts to return to work. Services provided include a veteran 24-hour priority hold on all job listings, customized job search assistance, job fairs, employer recruitments, and other events and resources. Anyone who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces is encouraged to schedule an appointment with an EDD veterans’ representative for personalized services and assistance to achieve professional goals.

The Youth Employment Opportunity Program (YEOP) provides special services to youth ages 15-25 to assist them in achieving their educational and vocational goals. Working with peer advisors, youth clients interact with individuals who have similar life experiences and perspectives by providing referrals to supportive services, workshops, job and placement assistance, and other training and community outreach efforts.

The Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker (MSFW) Outreach Program provides a full range of employment services to agricultural employers and migrant, seasonal, or migrant food-processing workers.
